V8, the new duo unit consisting of SEVENTEEN members Vernon and The8, made their debut on June 29, 2026 with the self-titled first mini album "V8". Led by the title track "singasong", the release marks the first official project from the duo and introduces a new unit within SEVENTEEN's lineup.
Following the release of "V8", V8 began debut promotions through Korean music shows, performance videos, fancams, and other stage-related content. In addition to "singasong", the duo has also performed the digital track "rat race" during the promotion period.
